Impressions Is March Exhibit At River Gallery

Thursday, February 20, 2014

The shift of light and color inspire the art in River Gallery's March exhibit Impressions.  There will be an artist reception on March 7 from 6:30-8 p.m.  The snow date for the reception is March 8, 2-4 p.m.

Review for Impressions:

With a dynamic color pallet, husband and wife team Yaffa and Jeff Todd breathe life into their glass work, producing pieces that embrace nature with the flow of light and hue.   Painter Mia Merlin's bright scenes move before your eyes with excited brush strokes and luminous color; one can almost hear the people's activity.

Joe Parrott masterfully harmonizes the play between light and shadow, creating an elusive moment of time in his oil paintings.

Events are free and open to the public
