41 Seek 14 Seats On Bradley Commission; Bill Ledford Ends 43-Year Run

There are 41 candidates seeking 14 seats on the Bradley County Commission.

Bill Ledford ended his 43-year run representing District 5 when he did not qualify. He said recently he had not made up his mind.

Vice Chairman Adam Lowe is running for the state House. Also not running for the commission are Brian Smith, Ed Elkins and Connie Wilson.

Steve Crump is running against Stephen Hatchett for district attorney general replacing Steve Bebb. Charles Hughes had no opposition for public defender.

Rep. Eric Watson is challenging Sheriff Jim Ruth.

County Mayor Gary Davis is opposed by Christopher Davis.

Barrett Painter, Sheridan Randolph and Shari Lynn Tayloe are seeking General Sessions Court judge, Division 2.

Sandra Donaghy is challenging Criminal Court Judge Amy Reedy.
