UTC Lady Mocs: 30-Win Season is Reachable Goal

"Journey to 30" Starts Tonight at Samford

The Chattanooga Lady Mocs are 23-3 and the defending Southern Conference champs put a handful of winning streaks on the line tonight at Samford (7 p.m. EST tipoff).

 

UTC is 15-0 in the SoCon, has won 19 straight overall this season, including 11 straight on the road, and has won 31 straight regular season SoCon games.

 

With all the talk of win streaks (Lady Mocs also has the nation’s longest home court win streak at 37), setting a school record for wins (30) in a season is attainable.

 

Seven More Wins: UTC can reach 30 victories by winning the final three regular season games, three more in the SoCon tourney and an opening round NCAA contest.

McCallie Wins Big Over McMinn County

CCS Football Earns Second Straight Shutout

Plan Revived For 5-Story Boutique Hotel Next To The Walnut Street Bridge

Plans have been revived for a five-story boutique hotel next to the Walnut Street Bridge. Vision Hospitality Group said the yet-to-be named hotel will provide 90 rooms featuring high-end amenities and exemplary service in the city's art district. Better Plan For Walnut Street Hotel

Mitch Patel and his Vision Hospitality Group have unveiled a revised plan for a hotel on Walnut Street. It is much better than the one proposed two years ago.
