Karen Claypool will speak on "Around the World in 30 Minutes" at the Monday night Positive Christian Singles meeting in the Oak Sreet Center, 433 Oak St., at First-Centenary United Methodist Church. Dinner is at 6 p.m. and the program at 7 p.m. Make dinner reservations by 9 a.m. on Monday at 756-2021.

Hubbard Indicted By Grand Jury In Case In Which Rape Was Live Streamed On Facebook

The Hamilton County Grand Jury has indicted Sherman Hubbard on a charge of conspiracy to commit rape in a case in which police said a rape was live streamed on Facebook. The indictment says on July 8, 2017, a 17-year-old girl went to a Chattanooga apartment to have some drinks. Hubbard, who was 21 at the time, was among those present.
