Dr. Rebecca Wright To Lead Adult Forum At Christ Episcopal

  • Wednesday, February 26, 2014

Christ Episcopal Church, Douglas at McCallie, announces that The Rev. Dr. Rebecca Abts Wright will be leading our Adult Forum during the season of Lent.

Please join us for an enlightening, insightful discussion on Sundays, 9:15 a.m., March 9 through April 13. We will meet in Fox Hall.

Dr. Wright is the C. K. Benedict Professor of Old Testament and Biblical Hebrew at The School of Theology at Sewanee: The University of the South. She is an ordained United Methodist Minister who loves to teach. Her teaching style not only helps students understand the Old Testament in its historical context, but also how it is relevant to the church today.

There will be two services on Ash Wednesday, March 5, with Holy Eucharist and Imposition of Ashes at noon and 6 p.m.
