New voting equipment has arrived at the election office and it will be demonstrated at an open house on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.
The election office is on River Terminal Road just off Amnicola Highway.
Officials said, "We will have live demonstrations of the brand new voting machines that will be used this year. Visitors will also be able to register to vote, update their voter information, and learn more about how to vote an absentee ballot."
