CCS Golfer Pope Commits to Austin Peay

Chattanooga Christian School all-state golfer Anna Pope has verbally committed to attend Austin Peay University in the fall and play women's golf.

The CCS senior tied for sixth at the TSSAA D-I A-AA girls golf tournament as a junior in the fall 2012 earning all-state honors.

Ironically, Anna-Michelle Moore (Clarksville Academy)  - the girl she tied with in the state tournament  - has also verbally committed to play golf at APSU.

Pope is a four-year letter winner for CCS, an honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society.

She won the Chattanooga PGA Junior Dan Tribble tournament this past summer, was runner-up in the 2013 Chattanooga City Junior Golf Championship and was twice named Creeks Bend Golf Course most improved fenale golfer in 2011 and 2012.
