Kiwanis Lt. Governor Casey Bryant was the speaker at the Hixson Kiwanis Clubs meeting on Tuesday. He is from CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ). 

The next meeting is Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 7:45 a.m. at Creeks Bend for a breakfast meeting ($8 per person).

Final Results Announced From Bradley County Sheriff's Office Auction

Sheriff Eric Watson announced that the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office’s second Absolute Auction was a success on May 16. The sheriff reported the auction netted the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office some $58,706, while items belonging to Bradley County Fire netted $5,878. Circuit Court Jury Gives $20,599,000 Verdict In Favor Of Canyon Ridge Developers; Punitive Damages To Be Added

A Hamilton County Circuit Court jury on Thursday awarded $20,599,000 to the developers of Canyon Ridge on Lookout Mountain against a financial firm that allegedly secretly started working on a rival project.
