Kenneth H. Johnson, 74, of Soddy Daisy, died on Monday, February 3, 2014.

He was an Evangelist of the Church of God, and a member of the Grace Sanctuary Church of God Prophecy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ella Johnson and a son, DeWayne Johnson.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Janet Johnson; son, Mitchell Johnson of Decatur, Tn.; daughters, Terri Johnson (Vance) Hughes, Karen (Billy) Webb, both of Decatur; stepchildren, Eric (Pam) Wood, Carol (Danny) Wilbanks, Adam Swanner; special friend, Gene Standridge; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Reverend Sam Sampson and Reverend Hebert Chancey officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Decatur. 

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mitchell Johnson, Eli Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Jason Hughes, Travis Johnson and Bruce Morgan; honorary pallbearers will be Billy Webb, Vance Hughes, Danny Wilbanks and Gene Standridge.
