Hixson Kiwanis Club Seeks Nominations For Howard Sompayrac Distinguished Service Award

The Hixson Kiwanis Club will be celebrating their 67th anniversary on April 15.  At the dinner they will award the 3rd annual Howard Sompayrac Distinguished Service Award to a person for outstanding service to the Hixson community.   

The first winner was long-time Hixson principal and school board member, Everett Fairchild and last year's winner was Joe B. Hutcherson III.    

This year the Charter Night celebration will be held at the Hixson Rib n Loin at 6:30 pm.

Man And Woman Killed In Sunday Morning Murder/Suicide At Hixson Gas Station

A man and a woman were killed in a Sunday morning murder/homicide at a gas station in Hixson.
