ALDI Brings New Jobs To Chattanooga Area

Local Hiring Event Is Feb. 24

ALDI will host a hiring event for its Chattanooga area stores including Chattanooga, Hixson, Cleveland and Fort Oglethorpe locations, on Monday, Feb. 24, from 7 a.m.- noon.  The hiring event will be held at ALDI at 5706 Lee Highway.

Positions open include store associates at $10 per hour and shift managers at $10-$14 per hour. 

Applicants must be 18 years or older, have a high school diploma or GED, be available to work anytime between 6 a.m.-10 p.m., Monday-Sunday, retail experience preferred, management experience preferred for manager trainees, undergo a drug screening and background check and be ability to lift 45 pounds.

Part-time staff working at least 20 hours a week receive full health insurance, dental coverage and 401K.



Georgia’s Jobless Rate Continues To Drop, Down To 4.7 Percent In July

Georgia’s unemployment rate is the lowest it’s been in over a decade. The state’s seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate decreased for the sixth consecutive month to 4.7 percent in July.
