Chattanooga Police officers responded on Thursday at 3:47 a.m., to a shots fired call at 2115 East 12th Street. Officers found no one on the scene who had been injured.
While at the scene, officers received another call that a person showed up at an area hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers spoke with Keenen Cooley, the victim. Cooley stated that he was walking down East 12th Street when he heard four gunshots. He noticed that he had been shot and was transported to the hospital by a personal vehicle. Cooley suffered a single gunshot wound to the left elbow, which was non-life threatening. Cooley had no suspect information and did not wish to cooperate with police.
