BI-LO To Hire Part-Time Associates During Upcoming Job Fair

BI-LO is holding a job fair to accept applications and conduct on-site interviews for part-time positions needed at 16 stores in the greater Chattanooga area. The job fair will be on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hilton Garden Inn, 2343 Shallowford Village Dr., Chattanooga, TN  37421

Part-time job seekers are sought.

BI-LO is recruiting for part-time store positions including cashier, courtesy clerk, service center clerk, pharmacy technician and bookkeeping, along with various part-time positions in the deli, bakery and produce departments. The grocer hopes to fill various openings available immediately at the locations listed below.

Deputy Beaten After Vehicle Crashes In His Yard Sues Officers

A man who was mistakenly beaten by officers who had been pursuing a pickup truck that crashed into his home has sued Hamilton County and the officers for $700,000. Aaron Lucas Shelton and his wife, Heather Nicole Shelton, filed the suit in Circuit Court. Aaron Shelton is himself a deputy sheriff. The town council of Signal Mountain is dealing with a traffic problem caused by increased traffic to and from Signal Mountain Middle High School and Nolan Elementary.
