A 25-year-old woman was critically injured in a grinding crash on Interstate 75 in Bradley County on Tuesday afternoon.
At 4:30 p.m., Bradley County EMS responded multiple emergency crews to I-75 at the 34 mile marker northbound.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash.
The woman, who was in a white vehicle, was trapped in the wreckage and had to be removed with extrication equipment by the Bradley County Fire and Rescue.
She was flown to Erlanger Hospital via Air Evac.
Two adults in the second vehicle were not injured.
The interstate was shut down completely on the northbound side after the crash.
