Fort Oglethorpe First Baptist Holds Town Hall Meeting This Sunday

A Town Hall meeting will be at 4 p.m. this Sunday, at Fort Oglethorpe First Baptist Church, 2645 Lafayette Road,  to discuss a new worship service.

First Baptist  Senior Acts will make a trip to Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, Ga., Thursday, April 3. Contact the church office for reservations, which must be in by Sunday, March 23..

2 People Shot In Chattanooga Overnight; Dequan Duke In Serious Condition; Frank Russell Has Minor Injury

Two people were shot overnight in Chattanooga.   Dequan Jamal Duke, 24, was in serious condition.   Frank Russell, 22, had a minor injury in a separate incident.   Chattanooga Police responded at 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday to a person shot at 2300 Wilson St.   The victim, Dequan Duke, arrived at a local hospital via a personally owned vehicle ...
