Late Mayor And No Apology - And Response

Saturday, March 15, 2014

Mayor Berke was 15 minutes late to the promotion and retirement ceremony on Thursday at the Police Service Center and he didn't even apologize. Please don't tell everyone the police is so important to the city and then you and your staff can't appear to the ceremony on time.

I can't wait for you to run for governor, Andy, so I can campaign against you.

Sgt. Rick Mincy (Retired)
Chattanooga Police Department

Fifteen minutes late?

Come on, Rick, the sun still rose in the east, set in the west. The flowers will bloom and the crickets will chirp. The world will not change simply because Andy Berke was a few minutes late to a retirement program. Those things usually don't start on time, anyway.

Relax. Cool it. Kick back and enjoy life. That's why you retired, remember?

Discussion about follow-up public meetings regarding the Signal Mountain School System Viability Committee (SMSSVC) report dominated the council’s work session on Friday afternoon. Cameron Runs Like The Wynn In Notre Dame Victory

The Notre Dame football team is on a roll right now. Maybe we should be a little bit more specific and say that Cameron Wynn is on a roll right now. After opening the season with a 42-21 loss to Baylor at Finley Stadium, the Fighting Irish have bounced right back to win eight games in a row, including Friday night’s 39-15 victory over Chattanooga Christian at Jim Eberle Field ...
