1 Dies In Wreck At Soddy Daisy

One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Soddy Daisy on Wednesday night.

The incident happened on Dayton Pike north of Roberts Mill Road.

Authorities said a white car going northbound crossed the center line and hit a Ford F250 pickup truck.

There was a fatality in the white car.

The driver of the pickup truck had minor injuries.

Anthony Moore, 47, Shot On Lee Avenue Tuesday Evening

Anthony Moore, 47, was shot on Lee Avenue Tuesday evening. Chattanooga Police responded at 9:45 p.m. to the 5300 block of Lee Avenue, on a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. His injuries are non-life threatening at this time.
