Annual Career Fair At Chattanooga State Is March 26

Chattanooga State Community College’s Career Services and Counseling Center will hold its annual Career Fair on March 26 in the gymnasium between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. More than 50 vendors will be on hand to discuss employment opportunities with their company.

Business and industry employers representing the areas of engineering, banking, local government, communications, broadcasting, tourism and transportation are just a sample of the many employers expected at the event.

According to Sheila Albritton, director of Career Services and Counseling at Chattanooga State, Career Fair attendees should “dress appropriately and come with multiple copies of their resume to give to potential employers.”

One man was shot and killed and another man injured in a shooting on Carousel Road lateTuesday afternoon. The incident happened around 5:25 p.m. One man was dead at the scene, and the other was taken to a hospital. City Council Approves TIF For Extension Of MLK Boulevard To The Riverwalk
