District 7 County Commission Candidates Roundtable Is Thursday

East Hamilton High School will be hosting a debate/round table discussion for all District 7 County Commission candidates on Thursday.  

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the discussion will begin at 6:30 p.m. in East Hamilton’s High School Gymnasium.   

David Carroll will be acting as moderator, and it will be open to all members of the community.  

Members of the community can meet the candidates and discuss current issues for the district.

Playcore Begins Construction On New Collegedale Playground

Officials Expect MLK Boulevard Mural To Be Big Draw; Artist Apprentices To Be Hired For Project

Officials said Tuesday they expect a massive mural planned on a tall MLK Boulevard building by a renowned muralist will be a big draw for the area. Haslam Adds K-12 Funds In Budget Amendment

Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam on Tuesday unveiled additions to the FY 2015-2016 budget that will be considered by the General Assembly in the coming weeks, including added funding for K-12.
