The Smoky Mountain Brass Quintet will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Berry College Ford Auditorium as part of the Berry College Concert Series.
The quintet, founded in 1993, has performed throughout the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom and China. They perform a wide variety of music from classical to jazz to pop.
The quintet consists of five Western Carolina University professors: Bradly Ulrich on trumpet, Dan Cherry on trombone, Michael Schallock on tuba and Travis Bennett on horn.
David Ginn, the quintet’s founder and also their business manager, plays trumpet for the quintet.
