Lee Brouner, longtime top assistant to County Auditor Bill McGriff, is shifting over to become assistant county finance director.
The move comes as Albert Kiser steps up to county finance director.
Wednesday was the final County Commission meeting for longtime Finance Director Louis Wright.
He was praised by County Mayor Jim Coppinger and commission members as well as County Attorney Rheubin Taylor and County Clerk Bill Knowles.
County Mayor Coppinger said that with Mr. Kiser "we won't miss a beat."
He said he was impressed with the work of Mr. Brouner when he stepped up while Mr. Wright was out last year with a serious health problem.
