American Red Cross Presents 2014 Dine Out For Disaster Relief On Thursday

  • Wednesday, March 26, 2014

The American Red Cross of Southeast Tennessee is partnering with 22 area restaurants on Thursday to present 2014 Dine Out for Disaster Relief, a dine out fundraising event taking place in Chattanooga, Hixson and Cleveland to help raise critical funds to support the mission of the American Red Cross.

Each restaurant has agreed to donate a portion of their entire days sales to support local programs and services like disaster relief, preparedness, CPR and first aid training, youth services, volunteer engagement, services to armed forces and more.

Those desiring to help should do the following:

1. Pick a restaurant on one of these lists at which to eat: Facebook EventBlog PostWebsite. Dine in, carry out and catering orders all count. Get a group together, and take the family out.

2. When you arrive, be sure to say, "I am here to support the Red Cross."

3. Enjoy a great meal for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, third or fourth meals, etc. Remember, on Thursday Red Cross calories don't count.
