Tails At Twilight Fundraiser Will Be May 1

The Pet Placement Center is having its annual spring fundraiser, Tails at Twilight, May 1 at Stratton Hall, 3446 Broad St. Tickets can be purchased from the shelter or by calling 877-0738.

This a causal social evening of hors d'oeurves, wine, and beer, featuring a silent auction, door prizes and three live auction items.  

The proceeds of the event directly benefit the work of the shelter to provide food, daily and medical care, sterilization, inoculation, socialization and rehabilitation to animals for adoption to suitable, new homes. Pet Placement Center is a no-kill shelter that receives no government funding. They rely solely on community support and contribution.




Winter Vistas: Longstreet’s Breakthrough

Cliftina Jones Charged In Death Of Orange Grove Center Client, Whose Body Was Found In Van

A Chattanooga woman has been charged in the death of an Orange Grove Center client whose body was found April 18 at an Orange Grove residence. Cliftina K. After police on Wednesday released clear photos of a man who tried to tried to rape a woman in the MLK Neighborhood, multiple callers said it was "Tom" who works at Amazon.
