3 Teachers Of The Year To Get New Car For A Year, Other Gifts

Three top Hamilton County teachers will be getting a new car to drive for a year in addition to other gifts.

Supt. Rick Smith is to announce the top teachers in each of the three school divisions on Friday.

The three segments are K-4, 5-8 and 9-12.

Brad Cobb, president of Bowers Automotive Group, said, "We are going to give each one of these teachers a free brand new car to drive while they hold their crown for the year."

He said he has also asked numerous businesses to offer items to recognize the teachers as well:

Some of the prizes include a year's supply of Coca-Cola, supplies from Top Flight, along with numerous gift cards.:

Alexander (Alex) Christian Womack, 21, was pronounced dead on the scene of an accident l ate  Tuesday  night . Collegedale Police along with other emergency personnel responded to an accident with injuries at the 10600 block of Lee Highway.
