Judge Bivins, Attorneys Knight, Scroggs Finalists For Tennessee Supreme Court

The Governor's Commission for Judicial Appointments met Wednesday in Nashville to interview five candidates for the position on the Tennessee Supreme Court being vacated this summer by Justice William C. Koch, Jr.

After conducting a public hearing and interviews of all the candidates, the commission has sent the following names to Gov. Bill Haslam for his consideration:

Red Bank Woman Charged With Kicking Boyfriend's Dogs During Incident At Airport Inn

A Red Bank woman has been charged with kicking her boyfriend's dogs during an incident at the Airport Inn on Feb. 4. Juliet Michelle Gaines, 29, is charged with assault and cruelty to animals.
