Knights Of Columbus And OLPH Sponsor Fish Fries During Lent

  • Friday, March 7, 2014

The Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council 6099 and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church will sponsor a benefit Fish Fry every Friday during the Lenten season, March 14–April 11, from 6-8 p.m.  The community is invited to have a hot, fried or baked fish dinner and all the trimmings, including fries, coleslaw and hushpuppies. Other items include cheese quesadillas, dessert and drinks.

The cost is $6 per person.  To-go orders are also available. The event will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in the Parish Life Center at the corner of Moore Road and North Terrace in East Ridge.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the OLPH School Home and School Association and Knights of Columbus Seminarian Support Fund. Members of Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council 6099 contributed to more than 23,000 volunteer hours and $50,000 to the community last year to support local churches and seminarians, help organizations that serve the developmentally challenged, promote pro-life causes, sponsor youth development programs, and encourage stronger families.  For more information, visit www.kofc6099.org.
