Salvation Army Has Community Outreach Day April 12

Information About GED And ESL Classes

The Salvation Army is hosting a Community Outreach Day with information on GED, ESL classes and other services on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. 

Several agencies will be present and the event is free.  Childcare will be provided.   

The Community Outreach Day will be held at the East Lake Salvation Army.

Chattanooga Fire Department Receives Grant From Firehouse Subs

Thanks to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, the Chattanooga Fire Department has received 140 personal flotation devices (PFDs). The Chattanooga Fire Department applied for the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation grant last year and has received an award of $19,922 to purchase the PFDs.
