"Crucifixion Of Christ From A Medical Perspective" Will Be Topic Sunday At Tyner United Methodist

Sunday at 9:45 a.m. at Tyner United Methodist Church, 6805 Standifer Gap Road, a discussion of "Crucifixion of Christ from a Medical Perspective," will be led by Rachel Hodges in Wesley Hall.

There will be a viewing of "The Passion of the Christ", with drinks and light snacks provided in Wesley Hall Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., pizza dinner and at 6:30 p.m. in Wesley Hall, "Looking for the Messiah in all the Rite Places," will be led by Dr. Chris Dover.

Thursday, April 17 a Seder meal, by reservation with the church office, will be in Wesley Hall at 6:30 p.


 A Tenebrae service will be Friday, April 18, in the sanctuary at 7 p.m.

Saturday, April 19,, the Easter egg hunt and breakfast will be at 11 a.m. in Wesley Hall.  From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., there will be an Easter prayer watch in the sanctuary.

Hurst UMC Hosts Back To School Bash This Saturday

Hurst United Methodist Church is hosting the annual Hill City Back to School Bash this Saturday, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be an  Astro Slide, food, face painting, games and contests.  Students in the North Chattanooga community can register for school supplies with the Northside Neighborhood House.  (click for more)
