Body Found On Glenwood Drive Identified As Darius Hinton; Had Been Shot Multiple Times

Darius Hinton, 25, has been identified as the victim found Friday morning on Glenwood Drive.

At approximately 8:14 a.m., Chattanooga Police were called to 1101 Glenwood Drive for a body found.  A neighbor stated to officers that they were walking along the road and observed a body down the embankment. 

Hinton suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. He was arrested in September, 2012 for aggravated assault.

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.

Worker Dies At M&M/Mars Plant In Cleveland

An employee of the M&M/Mars plant in Cleveland, Tn., died on the job on Thursday night. The Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration was investigating. The plant is on Peerless Road. (click for more)

Fire Destroys Highway 58 BBQ

A fire destroyed a barbeque restaurant on Highway 58 on Friday afternoon.   Chattanooga firefighters were dispatched to the Highway 58 BBQ around 6 p.m. The business is located at 4921 Highway 58.
