Notre Dame, Signal Mtn Split Tennis Matches

The Notre Dame girls improved to 8-0 on the season with an 8-1 win against visiting Signal Mountain, while the Eagles' boys squad (also 8-0) handed the Notre Dame boys (7-1) their first loss of the spring in tennis matches played at The Champions Club Thursday.

In the girls match, Sarah Joyce (ND) defeated Kylila Tucker, 9-7 (7-5) at No.1 singles.

In the boys match, Signal Mtn led 2-1 after doubles. The Irish claimed singles wins at Nos.1-2, but the Eagles won the last four singles matches for the win.
