Cleveland State Community College hosted its sixth annual environmental awareness celebration on Saturday called “It’s All About the Green!” The celebration featured food, presentations, entertainment and various vendors from the Cleveland community discussing the importance and benefits of “going green.”

Tennessee Aquarium To Open Southeast's Only Independent Freshwater Science Center Oct. 27

The Tennessee Aquarium will open the Southeast’s only independent freshwater science center next Thursday at 10 a.m. This new home for the Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute will be the base of operations for their research scientists, and a central location for other freshwater scientists to convene. First Young Sportsman Deer Hunt Is Oct. 29-30

Domestic Assault Charge Dismissed Against Bobby Stone In Case Involving Mayor's Top Advisor; Stone Says Berke Had Inappropriate Relationship With His Wife; Says Berke And Fletcher Conspired To Arrest Him; Lacie Stone Says Charges Completely False

A charge of domestic assault was dismissed Friday morning against Bobby Stone in a case involving a top advisor to Mayor Andy Berke.  Afterward, Mr. Stone told reporters that the mayor had an inappropriate relationship with his wife, Lacie Stone. Firefighters Respond To Residential Fires Friday Night, Early Saturday Morning

Chattanooga firefighters responded to two fires Friday night and early Saturday morning. The first fire occurred around 11 p.m. Friday and was located at 7128 Lea Road.
