Cameron Lewis carded his second consecutive 75, but the Covenant men's golf team dropped to eighth at the USA South Tournament at Benvenue Country Club in Rocky Mount.
The third and final round of the tournament will take place on Sunday. The Scots will not participate in the round due to Covenant's policy prohibiting athletic competition on Sundays.
Lewis sits in a tie for third and is two strokes off the leader, Cory Howard of LaGrange. The senior had two eagles and three birdies in his round and finishes the tournament with a 150 two-day score.
Nate Haney posted an 81 in the second round and a 166 for the tournament. Scott McKnight shot an 82 and finishes with a 167, while Alan Craig scored an 86 on the day and a 168 for the tournament. James Van Nice completed round two with a 91 and a 170 overall.
