Jessie "Mama Jean" Hoskins, 83, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014 in a local hospital.
She was retired from M & M Mars where she was employed as a contractor. She was a member of the American Legion Post 81 Ladies Auxiliary and a parishioner of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Vernon Hoskins; son, Michael J. Hoskins; father, Clarence Beaver; mother, Delia Kelly Hicks; and step-father, J.W. Hicks.
Survivors include her daughter, Patti L. Morrison and husband William Morrison, III of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Michael Kelly Hoskins and wife Tara of Cleveland, Jennifer Deems and husband Daniel of North Port, FL, Jamie Ashby and husband Tyson of Chattanooga and Brittany Stephens and husband Ryan of Charleston; and ten great-grandchildren, Hunter Hoskins, Blake Hoskins, Judith Deems, Brandon Deems, Buddy Villatoro, Savannah Villatoro, Gavin Ashby, Riley Ashby, Chase Stephens and Kinsley Jean Stephens.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, at the St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father Jim Vick presiding.
Her family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16 at the church prior to the service.
