McConnell, Marion Ruth Brown

Marion Ruth Brown McConnell of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on April 15, 2014.
 
Marion was born Feb. 10, 1941, in Marshall County, Tn., and attended Cornersville School where she met, and later married, the love of her life. God and her family were at the center of her very existence. She exhibited an inexpressible love for her husband, children, and grandchildren. Marion's commitment to God was evident through her daily walk with Him and her passion for mission work.
 
Marion was preceded in death by parents, Isaac Allen Brown and Sadie N. Watt Brown and a brother, Staley Brown.
 
She is survived by her husband, Sherrell McConnell; daughters, Melissa McConnell of Chattanooga, Michelle Pafford of San Francisco, Ca., and Melanie Wiles of Lewisburg, Tn.; six grandchildren, Trey, Brennan, and Sheridan McNeil and Aaron, Natalie, and Trenton Wiles; and a sister, Agnes Chapman of Lewisburg.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 18, at the East Brainerd Church of Christ, 7745 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the East Brainerd Church of Christ mission fund, 7745 East Brainerd Road., Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.

 
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, at the funeral Home, and again Friday from 12-2 p.m. at the church.
