Juanita June Marcum, the most loving and godly mother, died on Monday, April 14, 2014.

Born in Portsmouth, Ohio, she lived in Delbarton, W.V.., for many years before making her home with her daughter, Cheryl Moore, in Apison.

She and her husband owned and operated Marcum Cash Store until 1991. 

She was a member and supporter of East Chattanooga Church of God where she attended until God called her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Wad Marcum;  parents, Roy Edward and Letha Preston Pinson and an infant brother, sisters, Maxine Preston and Deannie Preston.

Survivors are her daughters, Cheryl (Larry) Moore, Apison, and Brenda (Gary) Runyon, Decatur, Tn.;  grandchildren, Keith (Sonya) Runyon, Brian (Paige) Runyon, Kendra Iarussi and Ryan Iarussi; and great-grandchildren, Jonathan , Angela and Ansleigh Runyon.

Services will be held on Friday, April 18, at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Reverend Fred Smith officiating.   Burial will follow at Decatur Cemetery with Perry Mason, Kenneth Carter, Jeremy Gueyselman, Keith Runyon, Brian Runyon and Ryan Iarussi serving as pallbearers. Jonathan Runyon and Charlie Smith will be honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.
