Winston Noah Ball, 79, of Tunnel Hill, GA and Tampa, FL, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in Tampa.

He was born April 30, 1934 in Alabama, was married to the late Frances Luallen Ball, and raised his family in Dalton, opening his Chiropractic Clinic in 1969. He moved his family to Tunnel Hill in the Fall, just before his youngest child was born. Dr. Ball raised his children on Biblical values and Chiropractic care. He loved to fish and fly his small Cessna, making it the first flight for many of his family and friends. He retired from his Chiropractic practice in 1999 after 42 years. The practice is still operated by his two youngest sons. He spent his most recent winters in Sun City, FL with his wife, Joanne Swilley Ball.

Dr. Ball was preceded in death by his parents, W.W. Ball and Emma Donahoo Ball; his first wife, Darlene Ball; and two siblings, Aaron Ball and Miriam Ball Thornton.

Survivors are his wife, Joanne Ball; children, Dr. W. Mark (Joan) Ball, Dr. Anita Ball (Jeff) Conn, Dr. N. Lee (Kimberly) Ball and Dr. N. Kent (Angela) Ball; grandchildren, Rebekah Ball, Jonathan Ball, Daniel Ball, Jordan (Beth) Conn, Elizabeth Conn and Nathan Conn; siblings, Joeldine Lawson, Martha (Paul) Morgan and Dr. William A. (Sara) Ball; and many loved nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate Dr. Ball’s life will be Tuesday, April 22 at 1 p.m. at Crosspointe Christian Center, officiated by Rev. Manning Thornton, Rev. James Brewer, Rev. Wallace Swilley and Dr. Steve Ball. Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors at Crosspointe Christian Center, Underwood Street, Dalton on Monday, April 21 from 6-9 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in Dr. Ball’s memory to the W.W. Ball Endowed Scholarship Fund, Office of Institutional Advancement, Pentecostal Theological Seminary, P.O. Box 3330, Cleveland, TN. 37320-3330.
