Local Firm Gets Contract With City For Open Enrollment

A local firm has been chosen by the city of Chattanooga to handle open enrollment services and act as agent of record for all voluntary benefits.

Russ Blakely and Associates will do so at no charge for a three-year period.

Officials said the firm will receive certain commissions.

There were 11 applicants and three finalists who were interviewed.

Russ Blakely and Associates currently advises the city on matters dealing with insurance.

Body Found On South Highland Park Avenue

The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating the death of a white woman, found at 2106 S.   Highland Park Ave.  The person’s identity and cause of death are unknown at this time.
