A 32-year-old tattoo artist has been arrested after he allegedly tattooed a 14-year-old.

Joey Douglas Williams was charged with illegally tattooing a minor.

On March 7, Shanika Eberhardt told officers that she was "upset that her son had been tattooed by an unlicensed adult and without her permission."

She said it took place after her son had been dismissed from school.

Officers located Williams at a room at the Red Roof Inn on Shallowford Road.

At first he advised that he checks IDs and does not tattoo minors. He then said he did remember tattooing the 14-year-old. He said he believed that his mother was outside waiting for him.

The teen said he found out about the tattoo artist through Facebook.
