Jimmy Edward Richards, 69, of Dalton, GA, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas John “TJ” Richards.
He worshiped at New Life Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Faye Souther Richards; daughters and a son-in-law, Jill & Kevin Daves of Rocky Face and Kim Elder of Dalton; mother, Ruby Louise Richards of Dalton; son-in-law, Todd Carnes of Dalton; grandchildren, Avery Flynn Daves and Warren McKale Carnes; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Richards will be held Tuesday, April 22, at 3 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Spence and Bro. David Souther officiating. Burial will be in Center Valley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 22 from 12-3 p.m.
