2014 Spring Boat Show Is This Weekend

Erwin Marine Sales will offer its Spring Boat Show on Saturday, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Chickamauga Marina.

Organizers said, "We have the largest selection of new and pre-owned boats by brands you know and trust like Bayliner and Sea Ray sport boats, cruisers, yachts and Cypress Cay pontoons."

New and pre-owned boats will be in the water and ready to demo. There will be special "boat show" pricing and on-the-spot financing available

East Tennessee Dove Season Opens With A Bang

With shotguns in hand and hats shading heads, over 1,000 East Tennessee hunters harvested nearly 5,000 doves on fields leased or owned by TWRA during Tuesday’s opening of the mourning dove hunting season.  Dove hunting on opening day is a longstanding tradition in the state as hunters brave the dust and heat with hopes of filling their bags with a limit of 15 birds.  ...
