McCallie is third in Division 2 AA and Boyd Buchanan is eighth in Class A in the latest baseball poll from the Tennessee Coaches Association.

Lookouts Shutout Barons Friday, 5-0

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Lookouts and pitching duo of Jason Wheeler and Nick Burdi shut out the Barons Friday night at Regions Field as Chattanooga rolled Birmingham 5-0 to open the five-game series. City, County To Spend Up To $300,000 To Improve Moccasin Bend Police Firing Range

The city and county will spend up to $300,000 to upgrade the police firing range at Moccasin Bend. The city and county earlier had made plans for an indoor firing range on E. 11th Street that would have cost over $3 million, but the plug was later pulled on that idea.
