Pins And Needles Quilt Shop Hosts Over 40 Quilters Traveling Through Chattanooga

The Pins and Needles Quilt shop hosted over 40 quilters who were making their way to the Paducah, Ky. AQS Quilt Show.

The ladies are from the Southern Stitches Quilt Shop which is in an outlying Georgia town. The ladies were thrilled with their stop in Chattanooga. They were warmly welcomed by the shop owner and staff, offering discounts, refreshments and treat bags. The quilters stocked up on fabrics, notions and gift items.

Many commented they will be back and they will definitely be planning a return trip to Chattanooga, especially when the AQS Show arrives in September.

Local Woman’s Noah’s Ark Sculpture On Display At Garden Plaza Jan. 26

Garden Plaza of Greenbriar Cove, 4586 Forsythia Way in Ooltewah, will display a large replica of Noah’s ark on Thursday.   Guests can admire the 4 feet by 2 ½ feet by 4 ½ feet wooden creation made by Pam Lewis, who teaches scroll saw classes at the independent living community. Chattanooga Police To Add 14 Officers After Violent Weekend; New System To Allow Local Testing Of Shell Casings

Cleveland Mother And Father Indicted After 2-Month Old Tests Positive For Meth; Has Multiple Injuries

The father and mother of a two-month-old in Cleveland have been indicted for child abuse after the baby tested positive for meth and had multiple injuries.
