Larry Henry Is A Leader - And Response

  • Saturday, April 26, 2014
Leader:; that's the word I use to describe Larry Henry. Chattanooga is known for locally owned businesses. For nearly 40 years Larry Henry led a business with success. He met payrolls and stayed within a budget. Henry's service to his cutomers kept them returning. Those returning customers also recommended Henry and the Stacy Oil Company that he owned and operated. Henry's customer base expanded. That's professional success. That's genuine customer service. That's a great example of professional leadership.

Larry Henry has taken time to give back to the community.
For Henry, retirement didn't bring daily trips to the golf course or rocking chairs. After being very successful in the professional world Henry chose to enter  public service. Henry has served as County Commissioner for District 7 for the last 12 years. District 7 has experienced tremendous growth throughout East Brainerd and Apison. Henry has been a leader throughout this growing period. While on the Commission, Henry made sure the growing District 7 saw its expanding service needs met. The residents of District 7 are very satisfied with Henry's service. If he would have sought re-election District 7 voters would have overwhelmingly returned him to the County Commission. Those satisfied residents of District 7 are the best testament of Larry Henry's leadership in public service.

With the current Circuit Court clerk retiring several community leaders approached Larry Henry about running for the soon to be vacant office. Henry's leadership in professional and public life is the experience needed to manage the office of Circuit Count clerk.

Larry Henry's proven leadership is why I will be voting for him to be our next Circuit Court clerk.
I encourage you to do the same.

I am proud to call Larry Henry my friend and I know he will do the best job possible. You can count on him.

I don't care much for the political process but that's how we elect our government leaders.  I pay more attention to character.

In the case of Larry Henry, I am proud to have been his friend since old Tyner High School where Larry excelled in football and track, always the gentleman and respectful of others.  In the past near 10 years I have enjoyed having Larry and his wife, Patsy, as fellow members of the Harrison Ruritan Club.  In an election year the club  enjoys a robust activity of local politicians as they wish to be visible and do good things for their community.  The Ruritan Club is proud to have them all.  The difference with Larry and Patsy is that they have been very active members for years, getting involved in community service projects and fundraising, when no election was on the horizon.

One thing they are very passionate about is local youth and education.  I encourage my friends to support Larry in this election.  You'll be glad you did.
