Rail Runners Host Fort Wayne

The league-leading Chattanooga Rail Runners (6-2) host Fort Wayne Flite (4-3) Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Rossviille Athletic Center in a Central Basketball Association contest.

The Rail Runners (6-2) defeated the Middle Tennessee Storm on Saturday night, 97-84. The game was played at Fisk University in Nashville.

The Rail Runners are led by former Baylor School standout Jonathan Adams and E'Jay Ward (Brainerd High School).

The team is coached by Rodney English, who is the head boys coach at East Hamilton High School.

Covenant Women Fall At Home To Maryville

Emma Grimes led three players in double figure scoring for the Covenant women's basketball team, but the Scots suffered a 79-61 loss to USA South foe Maryville on Thursday night inside Barnes PE Center. BlueCross Sells Huge Tract Along River For $8.1 Million

BlueCross BlueShield has sold a huge tract along the riverfront in Lupton City for $8.1 million. The purchaser is listed as Riverton LLC., 651 E. 4th St., Suite 403, Chattanooga.
