Emergency Operations Center Opens In Case Of New Storms

Hamilton County Emergency Services re-opened its Emergency Operations Center at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in anticipation of a new wave of storms predicted to arrive between 5-8 p.m.

The National Weather Services was forecasting the possibilities of hail, high winds and a slight risk of isolated tornadoes.

However, the first wave of storms was far to the west of the city.

Hamilton County remains under a flood watch until Wednesday. There is a possibility of flash flooding with 1 to 1 1/2 inches of rain.
