Officers from the Red Bank Police Department went to 1111 Dayton Blvd, Apt. 8, on Tuesday, at approximately 7:15 p.m., to investigate a tip indicating that a person wanted by the FBI might be at that location.

Upon arrival, they were able to determine that in fact, the wanted person, Lorenzo Rumbly, was inside the residence and he initially refused to come out. After a brief negotiation, Rumbly surrendered to the officers without further incident.

Rumbly was charged locally with violation of an order of protection and is being held in the Hamilton County Jail pending five armed robbery charges in Detroit.
