Enterprise-Gateway Council Holds Candidate Forum For Hamilton County Districts 4, 5, 9

The Enterprise-Gateway Council will sponsor a forum on Thursday at the Home Builders Association, 3221 Harrison Pike, for Harrison County Commissioners in Districts 4, 5, and 9. 

This event will give candidates an opportunity to address constituents and network with business and community leaders. Each candidate will have five minutes to provide remarks before adjourning for networking.

There will be an opportunity for networking from 5:30-6 p.m., with the program from 6-7 p.m.



Scottish Highland Games In Dayton To Be Held Saturday

The first annual Campbell Memorial Scottish Highland Games will take place this weekend, September 23 and 24 at the David Campbell Memorial Park. The park is on Highway 30 in Rhea County, just a few miles north of Dayton. Prosecutor Asks Jury To Find Morse Guilty In Massacre At Lookout Valley RV Park

Prosecutor Cameron Williams on Tuesday asked a Criminal Court jury to find Derek Morse guilty of three counts of first-degree murder as well as attempted first-degree murder in a massacre at a Lookout Valley RV Park on April 9, 2014.
