Ridgedale Baptist Presents Children's Musical This Sunday

The Music and Children's Ministries at Ridgedale Baptist Church, 1831 Hickory Valley Road, will present Grades 1-5 and Preschool Choirs in a musical, "the Star Factor," at 6 p.m. this Sunday, in the Christian Life Center. Join the students of Camp Heart & Soul as they learn that being part of the Body of Christ is what is important. Fifth Grade Bible presentations will also be made.
 
The May Senior Adult luncheon will be thisTuesday at noon in the Christian Life Center.
The program will be presented by Joyce Phillips, Community Kids and Camp Ridgedale Director.
 
The Women's Ministry is planning a movie Friday, May 9, at Wynnsong Cinemas, meeting there at 6 p.m. for "Mom's Night Out." They've rented Cadence Coffee Company after the movie from 8:30 to 10:30. Pair Charged With Beating Man With Stick, Taking His Wallet

Two men are charged with beating a man with a large stick while he slept on the steps of a downtown church, then taking his wallet. Jerry Quincy Allen, 45, and James Leo Boas, 40, both of 727 E. 11th St., are charged with aggravated robbery.
