Baylor Diving Club's Kilie Wilson Competes In National Diving Championship

 Baylor Diving Club's Kilie Wilson participated in the 2014 East JO National Diving Championship in Largo, Florida over the weekend.  Kilie was 22nd on 3-M and 28th on the 1-M Girls 11 & U events.  Wilson has only been diving for nine months.

The team's next meet will be the 2014 Summer JO Region # 7 Diving Championships in Moultrie, Georgia June 13-15.  The 2014 AAU Nationals will be @ Georgia Tech July 23-29 & USA JO Nationals will be @ the Allan Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville July 28-August 4th.
 

CHATTANOOGA DIVING LEAGUE (CDL):  The Chattanooga Diving League (CDL) will meet this Friday in the stands @ Baylor pool from 6:30-7:00.  Anyone interested in the league is welcome to come. There are eight teams set to comepete this year.   The CDL Championships will be @ Baylor Saturday July 19th.  The starting time will be 12:00 Noon.  More information and teams will follow soon.

No. 3 UTC Travels To ETSU Saturday

The third-ranked Chattanooga Mocs are back on the road this week, visiting ETSU for the first time in 13 years.  Game time is set for Noon (E.D.T.) on Saturday, Oct. 1, at Tipton Stadium at Science Hill High School in Johnson City, Tenn.   Chattanooga is off to a 4-0 start for the first time since 1979, but is 2-0 in SoCon action for the third year in a row.  ETSU ... Lee Women Ranked No. 6 In NCAA DII

The Lee women’s soccer team became the second program to be ranked in the top 10 in NCAA Division II this week when the NSCAA listed the Lady Flames as No. 6 in its weekly rankings. City To Begin Shipping Much Of Its Garbage To Bradley County

City Public Works Administrator Justin Holland said the city plans to begin shipping much of its garbage to Bradley County. He said the deal is projected to extend the life of the city landfill at Birchwood by 15 years. Man Says He Did Nothing To Provoke Shooting At Bakewell Gas Station; Suspect Says Victim Was Coming Toward Him

A 33-year-old man who was shot in the face during a clash at a Bakewell gas station said he did nothing to provoke the shooting. The man charged said the victim cursed him, then started toward him.
