A Chattanooga woman returned to her 26th Street home to find someone had broken in and stolen her TV. She had only been gone two hours when she received a call from a neighbor saying someone had damaged her carport door.
When she got back to the house, she saw that the door had been broken in half and immediately contacted police.
She looked around, but the only thing missing was the TV, a 50-inch LG valued at approximately $689.
When police ran the serial number of the TV, they discovered it had been pawned at Cash America less than an hour after they were called to the scene.
When they found out who pawned it, a warrant was issued for Lakisha Eveans. She was arrested on Monday, and bail was set at $25,000. Ms. Eveans has been charged with aggravated burglary.
